I Want To Like This: Podcast #31, “Haunted House Ownership” with Andy Bolton

HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEK! To celebrate this week, and the holiday it proceeds, I am putting this episode of the podcast up a day early! And what more appropriate podcast to air this week than the 31st episode, which is about haunted houses! Andy Bolton joins me on the podcast to talk his very personal relationship with Haunted Houses, which includes owning and operating one. A lot of work goes into a good haunted house and you can tell how much thought and time Andy has put into them over the years. I hope you enjoy his story and get out there and see some haunted houses!

I Want To Like This: Podcast #30, “The Shallows” with Topher Rodriguez

“The Shallows” is a film about a girl and a shark, with a lot of stuff that feels unnecessary in it. So, it is a lot like this podcast, where repeat guest Topher Rodriguez and I talk about this movie and a lot of other stuff. Some of that stuff is related to the content of this movie, and some not. But, none the less, this is a fun conversation with someone who is just built to have fun conversations.

For more from Topher find him on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

You can find Captain Wails and The Harpoons Here, Facebook, and Twitter.

Don’t forget his first episode on the Podcast!

I Want To Like This: Podcast #28, “The Tea Party” with Marcos Lara

Hello! We are back, and joined once again by Marcos Lara. You may remember Marcos from Podcast #16, in which he put me out of my depth talking rap feuds. Well he is pulling another topic from left field with “The Tea Party”. Yes, today is a political episode of sorts. It is fun and pretty dumb in the best way. So take a listen to tow blokes who probably are not qualified to talk politics, though still more qualified than Donald Trump, do just that.

I Want To Like This: Podcast Episode 23, “Land of the Dead” with Jessie Prouty

This week I am joined once again by Jessie Prouty, who sat in on Episode 9, with Jerry Gossen. This time around Jerry sits in as Jessie and I discuss George A. Romero’s “Land of the Dead”. Jessie being the visual artist he is (mostly working in paint), he has an eye for aesthetics. But, he also has an appreciation of what has made Romero’s work such classics of the genre. It is a good conversation that highlights some issues modern horror has.
